Meet The Doctor
Adahli E. Massey, M.D., FACR
Dr. Massey is a board-certified rheumatologist specializing in the treatment of arthritides, immune disorders, and osteoporosis. Some of the most common conditions seen in her practice include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, osteoporosis, vasculitides, back disorders, joint disorders, and disorders of the connective tissue.
Dr. Massey received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Puerto Rico, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She then completed her fellowship in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Massey has participated in clinical research in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia. She is currently an Instructor of Medicine of the University of Alabama Birmingham’s Internal Medicine program in Montgomery. Dr. Massey has published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has given multiple lectures for physicians at conferences sponsored by pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Massey and her husband, David Massey, live in Auburn. They have two children, Bryan and Madelyn. Dr. Massey enjoys family and church activities, physical fitness, jogging and running, drawing, music, photography, and organizing children’s birthday parties.
