Amanda Sexton
Amanda grew up as military child, Augusta, Georgia is her hometown. She has been with East Alabama Arthritis Center since 2020. She serves in many different roles in the office. Amanda is married to Daniel and they have three children.
Clinical/Administrative Assistant
Crystal Murphy
Crystal is from Opelika, Alabama. She has been with East Alabama Arthritis Center since 2016. Some of her duties include phlebotomy, and assisting Dr. Massey. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Margot Cleveland
Margot is board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Margot earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Albany State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Auburn University. Prior to her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked for the Georgia Department of Public Health as an instructor in Maternal and Infant Health at Darton State College.
X-Ray Technician
Justin Whitehead
Justin has been with East Alabama Arthritis Center since 2009. He is from Valley, Alabama. Justin obtained his degree from Southern Union State Community College. He does they x-rays, DEXA scans, and IVAs. He enjoys spending time with his son and wife as well as coaching baseball.
Registered Nurse
Tashina Coleman
Tashina “Sheena” obtained her RN degree from Southern Union Community College. She is in charge of the infusion unit as well helping assist clinical aspects of the office. She enjoys time with her daughter, Alabama football and fishing.
Receptionist/Clinical Assistant
Ashley Todd
Ashley is from Auburn, Alabama and graduated from Loachapoka High School. Ashley joined East Alabama Arthritis Center in 2021. She has been working in the medical field since 2010. She has one daughter, Justice.
MRI Technologist
Taylor Ward
Taylor is the MRI technologist for East Alabama Arthritis Center. She is from Logan, Utah, but currently lives in Auburn, AL while her husband completes his PhD at Auburn University. She has a Master’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences from Weber State University with an emphasis in MRI. She is board certified in Radiography, Computed Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Taylor’s passion is running. She runs professionally and recently competed in the US Olympic Marathon Trials in February 2016.

Christy Chambers
Christy is from Valley, Alabama and obtained her RN degree from Southern Union Community College. She has been working in the medical field since 2005. Christy has been with East Alabama Arthritis Center since 2015.
Registered Nurse
Vonda Worley
Vonda is from Opelika, Alabama. She has obtained her RN degree from Southern Union Community College. She has been a registered nurse since 1996. Vonda joined East Alabama Arthritis Center in 2021. Vonda enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs and cats.
Clinical Assistant
Jenna Blackstock
Jenna is originally from Auburn, AL and is responsible for drawing labs, assisting Dr. Massey in rooms and various other clinic duties. She rides horses competitively and enjoys hiking, fishing, sports and of course, all things Auburn. Jenna is currently in nursing school and recently got married in May 2016.

Heather Hall
Heather is from Valley, AL and currently resides in Beauregard, AL. She is an RN who obtained her associates degree from Southern Union State Community College. She works in the infusion unit as well as helping with patients’ refills, messages and other clinical aspects of the office. She enjoys reading books, riding her horse, and spending time with her little girl.
Receptionist
Sherri Ledford
Sherri is our receptionist, helping patients with appointments, medical record and any front office needs. She is a resident of Opelika, AL and if active in her church. She also has a degree in medical billing and coding.
Clinical Assistant
Charlie Walton
Charlie was born and raised in Waverly, Alabama and currently resides in Auburn. He has four years experience in phlebotomy and has an Associates degree in science from Southern Union State Community College. Charlie is responsible for assisting Dr. Massey with patients, drawing labs and various other clinical duties. He enjoys playing piano, photography and spending time with friends and family.
Admin Assistant
Esther Grubbe
Esther is originally from Oxford, Alabama and is an administrative assistant for Dr. Massey. She obtains pre-certifications for procedures, as well as schedules hospital procedures and refers patients to other physicians. She is a full time student at Auburn University, studying Health Services Administration and Spanish, and will graduate in May 2017. Esther enjoys traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
